Women Ministering to Women

Our desire through the women’s ministry at Rimrock is to create inviting opportunities for women to grow in the Lord together, get to know other women and enjoy ministering to one another or along side one another. This is done through a variety of ways including bible studies & special events. Take a look at what God is doing in our women’s ministry & jump in as He leads.

Bible Studies- Because studying God’s Word together can help grow you as a Christian and provide deep relationships with others, we offer many opportunities to study with other women. New studies typically begin in September and January, so watch the bulletin for upcoming studies!

New Study begins February 22:

"James: Mercy Triumphs"- Stacie Tschetter will lead a group of ladies through this vidoe study beginning February 22.  This 8-week study will continue on Wednesday Nights from 6:30-8:00 pm. Call Stacie for more info @ 343-1452.

NEW Winter Studies! (begin in January) /files/adults/woman bible.jpg

    •  Lord I Want to Know You (Kay Arthur), Tuesdays 6:30 am-  Phyllis Sletten 381-3739; meeting at Margaret Meyer’s (2001 1st Avenue) This group will start this new book in March, looking at the names of God.
    • Here & Now; There & Then: a study of Revelation (Beth Moore),

Friday Mornings 9-11 am begins Jan. 13

This series on the book of Revelation teaches that God is as specific about what He does reveal as He is about what He does not reveal. Meets at the church, child care provided. For info call Dee Hays, 343-4821 or Michelle Mueller, 415-1593

    • James: Mercy Triumphs (Beth Moore)-  Wednesday Nights at 6:30 pm, begins January 11, part of Rimrock's Church Family Night, child care provided. Led by Lornell Haggerty, 342-8284. Bible scholars compare James to the prophet Amos. In other ways James more closely resembles the Book of Proverbs than any New Testament book. Come along with Beth Moore on a journey to get to know both the man and the Book of James. You will never be the same again. Topics in this study include: joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer.
    • Daniel (Beth Moore), Tuesdays @ 5:15 pm- (BEGINS IN FEB) Seattle's Best Cafe (in the Alex Johnson) Led by Judy Scully, 348-4803.  An in-depth study of the book of Daniel. This comprehensive study of the subject matter includes common pitfalls such as materialism, integrity, and prayer, as well as some topics that are prophetic.

  • Preregister by contacting the group leader.
  • /files/adults/aog_symbol_4c_Resized_58x62.jpg"Apples of Gold" is a six week women's mentoring Bible study. It combines cooking skills, hospitality and studying God's Word one evening a week. It is a great way for the older generation to connect with the younger generation. Making plans for a new group in January.  If interested in being a mentor, contact Neda Joyce 605-584-9086 or Karine Carpenter 341-0635
