Judea Ministry
Acts 1:8 “you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
What is Judea?
Back when Jesus walked on this earth, Judea was the world outside of Jerusalem. To Rimrock Church, Judea is the Black Hills and surrounding communities. These are the same communities in which we live, work and play. At Rimrock Church, we view ourselves as a training center for ministers. We believe that all Christians are called to be ministers…not in the occupational sense, but in the meaning that we are to live out the Gospel of Jesus in our daily lives.
Connecting within our community for Christ is what we are asked to do by Jesus. How that looks depends on your gifting and who you are in the Body of Christ. The Judea Ministry at Rimrock would love for you to take a few moments and answer a few questions about who God has designed you to be; what makes you….uniquely you? What makes you say… I was born to do this...? What is your passion?
- Are you passionate for children, the elderly, the homeless, the poor or maybe the handicapped?
- Are you someone who likes to organize and instruct others or someone who is more comfortable being told what needs to be done?
- Do you like to work with your hands or are you an idea person? Are you a person who wants to help when needed?
- Are you some one who takes the lead and tackles obstacles in front of you?
Rimrock’s Judea Ministry provides support and resources for Rimrockers who feel called to a ministry in their Judea (outside the walls of Rimrock Church). If you would like to join other Rimrockers outside the walls of Rimrock Church who are making a difference within the community for Christ...we would love to connect you!
