 Parent Link Newsletter

Each month we print Group Publishing’s parent newsletter. With very insightful and fun ideas to help you as a parent. You may pick one up at various spots in the church or click the Parent Link graphic here to read it. Our hope is that you will be greatly encouraged and challenged to grow your children to love and follow the Savior.

Nailed Down Manicure Ministry 

As a way to give back & share the love of Christ, young girls in 3rd-5th grades have a wonderful opportunity to serve Senior Citizens at Fountain Springs Health Care. One afternoon of each month (school year), we will meet at the residence at 3:15 pm. The girls will provide manicures, hand massages, songs, and great conversations to the residents. If your daughter and/or friend are interested, please make arrangements to get them there. When we are finished, the girls are bused to a local restaurant where they can eat and get to know each other more. Parents should plan to pick up their daughter by 5:15. There is a van available that will pick your daughter up at school if needed. Just call the office (342-5373) and let us know.

February 2012- we will meet at Fountain Springs on Tuesday, February 14 to pamper & honor the seniors for Valentine's Day.

Easter Egg Hunt

Kids of all ages enjoy this fun event- so bring the kids, grandkids & neighbor's kids to Rimrock on a Saturday near Easter (date for 2012 to be announced). Bring your own basket for this outdoor (that is the plan!) event. There will be crafts & age grouped hunts.

Candy Donations are welcome! Drop candy in the bins near the resource room to help fill all the eggs!

Elementary Family Church

All children are encouraged to participate in the Adult Worship Services as families feel led. However, because we offer an alternative service for children, maybe this does not happen as often as some families would like. So this year, to encourage the family, we will offer several planned 'Family Churches' for your elementary kiddos. We will not have any 1st-5th classes downstairs during either services on these Sundays. This gives you the opportunity to worship together as a family and challenge your children to experience adult worship. We will have worksheets available and other medium to help your child sit quietly if that is your desire.

Kid’s Karnival- Monday, October 31, 2011 @ 6:00 pm

Every Fall we offer a safe, warm alternative for those who would like to celebrate Halloween. The sanctuary will be set up with fun games for all ages.

We will have hay rides, a jumping castle & inflatable slide plus lots of fun games. And plenty of candy for everyone! Bring your friends. 

Kids Personalized CD's

We offer a wonderful resource for a gift for that special child in your life. These CD's sing uplifting songs like "Jesus Loves me" and includes the child's name sung into the song. Kids light up when they hear their own name being mentioned.  The CD is $15 & Children's ministry receives $5 for each CD ordered through us.  Click the website below to take a listen.
