A Joyful Caring Ministry

Bear one another's burdens and therefore fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2

 

The mission of LOL is to glorify God by bearing one another's burdens. Providing church members with:

  • Encouragement
  • Practical Help
  • Resource Information

The LOL Ministry provides members a "safety net" of support: providing practical help, such as cleaning & meals after a surgery; encouragement by walking alongside someone during an emotionally difficult situation; or providing resources- like finding information for a new mom needing child services.

 

LOL Goal is threefold:

  1. To be the hands and feet of Christ by lending a helping hand, a listening ear and words of Godly encouragement to other Rimrockers. But now indeed there are many members, yet one body. If one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. 1 Corinthians 12:20, 26
  2. To engage members in their God-given gifts and thereby grow in their walk with Christ. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and His love is made complete in us. 1 John 4:12
  3. Provide witness through service. You are the light of the world... let your light shime before men, that htey may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16
