Welcome to Celebrate Recovery at Rimrock!

Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a Christ centered recovery ministry of Rimrock E Free Church, designed to help people affected by hurts (emotional reactions to another persons behavior), hang-up’s (negative mental attitudes that are used to cope with people or adversity such as anger, fear, anxiety and depression) and habits (a craving for something, or a preoccupation may grow for someone or something. Sometimes it even develops into a compulsion or addiction.) You will find peace and experience God’s Grace at Celebrate Recovery.

We focus on healing through spiritual growth and setting people onto a path toward recovery. This ministry combines the 8 recovery principles of found in the beatitudes from the book of Mathew and the 12 steps. People attend Celebrate Recovery to find support, encouragement and guidance.

Celebration Thursdays
We meet Thursday Nights from 6:30-8:30 PM at
Crossroads Wesleyan Church; 1823 Sheridan Lake Road in Rapid City.

Our time together consists of worship, teaching and small group sharing. If you are not comfortable sharing in a small group, please attend anyway. You will not be required to share. We would like to just have you a part of our group.

The 1st Thursday of each month we have a fellowship meal together beginning at 5:30 PM. This is a great time to bring a friend of family member who would like to know more about CR.

There are 7 unique features of this ministry

1.     CR is based on God’s Word the Bible. God has provided for us a way to live abundantly and joyfully, free of hurts, habits and hang-ups.

2.     CR is forward looking. Regardless of what has already happened God provides a solution to start making wise choices by depending on Christ’s power to help make those changes.

3.     CR emphasizes personal responsibility.

4.     CR emphasizes spiritual commitment to Jesus Christ.

5.     CR utilizes biblical truth that we need each other in order to grow spiritually and emotionally

6.     CR addresses all types of hurts, habits and hang-ups.

7.     Finally, CR is a leadership factory.
