Rimrock’s desire is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the World. To fulfill God’s command in Acts 1:8, mission teams have been sent to downtown Rapid City, White Clay, NE, Denver, Canada, Mexico, Venezuela and eastern Europe. As well supporting many missionaries around the world, the World Mission Team supports short term mission trips taken by member of our local body. Pastor Ricardo Reyes (pictured with Rimrocker, Chuck Blackler) |
In rural Nicaragua lives Pastor Ricardo, his wife, Santo and their family. Their arid mountain village, Asiento Viejo, is home to around 525 people who make their living largely from agriculture and migrant work in nearby Costa Rica. Their situation is difficult as their $2,000 average annual household income is coupled with a sporadic electrictical supply source & contaminated water in their small village. In the midst of that difficult setting Pastor Ricardo has been a ray of God’s light. He is a life-long learner who enjoys using his knowledge and love for God to help others grow in their appreciation of God’s involvement in all aspects of their life. He uses the everyday practical as a means of sharing Christ. Ricardo is respected within his home, community, national church denomination, international development agencies working in Nicaragua and Latin America. It has been amazing to watch God open many doors for Ricardo to display His wisdom, power and provision. For more about Rimrock’s partnership click here. | |
